Can Local Data Be Used Directly for Training Without Uploading to the Official Hub? Facing Hugging Face Errors on Cloud

  When collecting data, if it’s not uploaded to the official website, can it still be used for training? Are we restricted to only using the official datasets during training? I’m training on a cloud server but keep getting Hugging Face errors. Can’t I directly use local data for training?

  To resolve this, adding a local root directory is sufficient. Please review the code—within the 'lerobotdata' attachment, there exists a root configuration parameter that requires specifying the local path.
